Jamia Wilson is an American writer, commentator, and feminist activist who earned her MA in Humanities and Social Thought from NYU's Graduate School of Arts & Science. Earlier in her career she was Executive Director of Women, Action, and the Media, President of Programs at The Women's Media Center, Executive Director of Youth Tech Health, and a staff writer at Rookie magazine. A TED Prize Storyteller and member of the Move to End Violence social change movement, Wilson was named one of the "17 Faces of the Future of Feminism" by Refinery29 in 2013. Since 2023 she has been a mentor with Feminists in the City.
