About Cristi
Cristi Hegranes, Graduate School of Arts and Science 2005, is the founder and CEO of Global Press, a nonprofit journalism organization that trains and employs local women reporters around the world. She built the organization around the idea that people closest to a story should report it. Global Press has produced reporting from undercovered communities and challenged extractive models of international journalism. Her profile should emphasize journalism, trust and institution building.
