Acclaimed Singer, Songwriter and NYU Alumna Rondi Charleston Releases New CD

On February 8, 2011, Jazz singer-songwriter Rondi Charleston released her new CD, Who Knows Where the Time Goes, the follow-up to her 2008 critically acclaimed release In My Life. Charleston says, "These songs all, in one way or another, reflect some aspect of our collective relationship with time," says Charleston, a life-long admirer of that epic wrestling with and caressing of calendar movement, Proust's Remembrance of Things Past. “Whether it’s a cherished memory of a specific person, place or thing -- past, present or future – I hope to spark people’s subconscious emotions, and in doing so, remind them of just how precious time is.”

After graduating from Juilliard and singing opera professionally, she enrolled in the Master's program at NYU's School of Journalism, beginning a career of investigative news reporting, one which led to Emmy and Peabody Awards for numerous stories. With Who Knows Where the Time Goes Charleston once again combines her singing talent with her love of storytelling to create memorable music.
