Alexandra Mayzler (CAS '05) - Entrepreneur and Tutor Extraordinaire

Mayzler.jpgAlexandra Mayzler (CAS ’05) was recently profiled in the New York Times Business section. Thinking Caps Tutoring has grown from a business that Alexandra started in her NYU dorm room to a thriving company that employs 30 tutors and part-time employees. She is looking to expand so that the business can be her lifelong career. According to the Times,

"to carry itself for the next 40 years, Ms. Mayzler says, Thinking Caps must ‘become more of a stand-alone brand, not an Alexandra brand.’"

In addition to working as the Founding Educational Director of Thinking Caps, Alexandra had the time to co-author ''Tutor in a Book,'' which will be published by Adams Media in July.
